To import a list of contacts, click on the Contacts tab at the top, then click on the Import/Export button
- First, you’ll need to select the file that has your Contacts that you want to import. Note that it needs to be a comma-delimited or a tab-delimited file.
- Next is the most important step. You need to map the columns from your file to the available columns inside of REIPro. The REIPro columns are in the drop-downs going across each column, and the bold column headers are what REIPro picked out of the file that you selected. So for my First Name column I’m going to choose First Name from the drop-down, and for my Last Name column I’m going to choose Last Name from the drop-down menu, and so forth. Pick the rest of the appropriate column names all the way across. If there is a field that doesn’t pertain, such as Fax and Extensions, you can leave that column heading as Do Not Import from the drop-down menu.
- Once you’ve mapped all of these, you could click the Preview button which would give you a sampling of what you’re about to import. Then once you’re satisfied, click on Import, and it will tell you if your contacts were imported successfully, and then you can return to your Contacts list.
